FOR THE SHERIFF'S REUOLVING FUND
WHEREpS, ~he Board of Supervisors on March 5, 1951, pursuant
to Sections 29320, et se~ of the Governmen~ Code of the State of
California, adopted a resalution establishing a revolving fund for?~the
Sheriff's Office in the amount of One 7housand ~ollars ($I,000.00}, to
be used for the ~ransportation of prisoners; and,
WHEREAS, the Board af Supervisors on February 2, 1977 adopted
Resolution No. 77-30 increasing the amoun~ of that revolv~ng fund to
Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00); and,
WHEREAS, there is now determined to be a necessity to further
increase the amount of that revolving fund;
NOW,~~7HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLUEd BY THE BOAR~ OF SUPERVISORS
of the County of Butte, State af California, as foTlows:
1. That the resolution adopted by the Board of Supervisors
on March 5, 195i, be amended to read as follaws:
"3. That the amount of the fund shall be the sum of
Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00)."
2. That the County Adm~nistrative Officer is instructed pur-
suant to Section 29323 of the Government Code of the State of Ca~ifornia
to amend by endorsement the blanket fidelity bond of the County to be
conditioned, in addition to i~s other provistons, upon the faithful
administration of the revolving fund and upon the willingness and ability
nf the principal for whom such fund ~as been established to account for
and pay over the fund upon demand of the Board of Supervisors a~ any
t3me.
3. That the Auditor is hereby authorized and directed to draw
a warrant in the amount of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00):nn~"fa~orc6~
the Sheriff's Revolving Fund from the County ~eneral Fund.
PASSED AN~ ADOPTED this 20th ~ay of ~ay , 1980 by the
Butte County Board of Supervisors by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Moseley, Whee7er, Winston and Chairman Lemke
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
