RESOLUTION CALLZNG FOR CONSTRUCT~ON BIDS

The Board of Sup~rvisors of the County of ~utte
resolves:
l. Th~.s Board of Superv~sors has given pre7.iminary appraval
to the report of th~ Engineer of Wark for improvements a~n Sac~amento
Avenue Assessment Dis~ric~ No. I., Butte Coun~y, Californz.a. The
report inc~udes pl.ans and speci~ications for the construction of irn-
provements desczibed in the repa~~.
2. The County of Bu~te will receive sealed praposals for
~his cons'~ruction not late~' than 1.~.:00 A.M. on June 25, I980, in the
of~'ice of the Clexk af the B~ard o~ Supervisors, County Administrata.on
Center, 25 County Center Drive, Orovi~le, Cal~fornia. The sealed pro-
posals will be publ.icly opened, examined and decl.ared in ~he Board
Charabers .
3. The Board of Sup~x~visors reserves the power in its discre-
tion ~o reject all proposa3.s. The award o~ construction cont~ac~, if
made, sha].1 be made to the lowest responsib~.e bidder within the time
fixed ~.n the specifa.cations (or any extension o~ time agreed to by ~he
Coc~nty and the ~.owest responsible bidder.}
~. The County Clerk is d~rec~ed to publish a not~c~ invit-
ing sealed proposa~s in the CHICO ENTERPRISE RECORD, in accordance wa.th
~he Munic~pal Tmprovement Act af 1913. The Engineer of Work i.s authorized
to give addi~ional no~ice and to distribute additional informatxon as
necessary in the judgment of the Enginee~ of Wark to secure competitive
bidding.
