several delinquent accounts which have not been satisfied; and
' WHEREAS, the persons responsible for these accounts have
refused to satisfy these accounts or do not reside in the County of
Bu~te; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code §2b220, this Board has
the authority to assign these accounts to a private collection agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, B~ IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Soard of
Supervzsors that the Butte Coun.ty Collections Departinent is hereby
authorized to assign any or a11 delinquent bi1ls, clazms or accounts
which it has been unsuccessful in satisfying to an outside collection
agency approved by this Board as meeting the requirements of Govern-
ment Code §26221.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
