HomeMy WebLinkAbout80-154WHEREAS, this Board received from the Burte County Planning Co~ission, an amendment, as shown on Exhibit "A", Exhibiti "B " and Exhibit "C", attached hereto, to the Land Use Map of t~e Land Use Element of the Butte County General P~.an; and WHEREAS, areas shown on Exhibit "A", Exhibit "B" and Exhibit "C" are noncontiguous and ~rere not considered simultaneously by the Planning Commission, th~s requiring separate environ~mental studies for several of the areas shown on Exhibit "A", Exhibit "B" and Exhibit "C"; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has reviewed and considered the negative declaration, attached hereto as Exhibit "-", for the Lee Colby petition, and determining that no significant impacts would result from this change of land use; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has reviewed and considered the environmental impact report, attached hereto as Exhibit "E", ~rep~red for the Chico Airport Environs, and determined that no significant impacts would result ~rom the change of land use in this area; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has reviewed and considered the environuzental impact report, attached hereto as Exhibit "F", prepared ~or the area covered by the petition submitted by Richard Horton, and determined that the change in land use for this area would not have a significant impact on the environment in that potential significant impacts due to subdivisions can be mitigated by imposing conditions at the time ot approval of the subdivisions to mitigate the impacts; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has reviewed and considered the environmental impact report, attached hereto as Exhibit "G", prepared for the area covered by the petition submitted by Ron Zmhoff, and determined that the change in land use for this area would not RESOLUTION A-OPTING AMENDF~NT TO THE LAND USE MAP OF THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE BUTTE COUNTY GENERAL PLAN have a significant impact on the environment; and WHEREAS, this Board finds that the proposed amendment will be consistent with the land use now in the area and will con~orm to the text of the General Plan and be in conformity with the policies and the other elements of the GenezaZ' Plan, this finding being based upon information presented at t~e hearing thereon before this Board and the research and studies on which the amendment was based. NOW, THEREFORE, B~ Ix RESOLVED by the Board ot Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, that the amendment to the Zand Use Map as shonw on Exhibit "A", Exhibit "S" and Exhibit "C", be adopted and incorporated within th.e Land Use Map of the Land Use Element of the General Pl.an for the County o~ Butte. BE IT FURTHER ~SOLVED that, pursuant to Government Code §65359, the General Plan of the County of Butte be endorsed to show that the above amendment has been appxoved by this Board.
