WHEREAS the Butte County Psobation Department desires to undertake a certain project, designated Delinquency Prevention Officer (second year), to be f~znded, in part, fro~ funds made available through the Juvenile Justice and De3.inquency Pxevention Act of 1974 (PL 93-415) aclministered by the Office of Crimina7. Justice Planning (hereafter ret'erred to as OC3P). NOW, THEREFOi2E, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chief Probation Officer of the Probation Department is authoxized, on its behalf, to submit the attached application £or Gzant for Law Enforcement Purposes to OCJP and is authorized to execute, on behalf of Butte County, the attached Grant Award for Law Enforcement Purposes, including any extensions or amendments thereof.
