Resolu~ion 80-135 to undertake a certain project designa~ed
Pro~ecutor's Manage~ent and Information System (PROMTS) to be ~unded
in part from fund.s 3na~e available th~ough the Omnibus Crime Con~rol
and ~afe Streets Act of 1968, PI~ go-351, as amended, (hereafter referr_ed
to as the Crime Control Act) administered by the Oi~ice of Criminal
Justice Planning (hereafter referred to as OCJP), and;
W~REAS, the California Council on Crimina~ Justice, has
allocated ig7g ~egion C b~ock ~~an~ ~unds ~o ~he Frosecutor's
Mana~ement and Tnyormation Sys~em as a secondary grant cons~itutin~
matchin~ funds in beha~~ of $iztte Count~.
NOGI, THEP,EFORE, BE IT RESOLV~D that -the District At-~orr~ey of
the County of Butte is au-thor~zed_, on its behalf to suomit the a~;~tacli-
ed Secondary Grant Application for Lat~r Enforcement Purposes to OCJP
and is autl~orized to execute on behalf of the ~ounty of Butte the
a-ttached Grant Award for lava enforcement purposes includin,~~ any
extensions or amendments thereof.

a11 matching iunds required fbr said project (includin~~any extension
or amendmen~ ~hereof) under ~~e Crime Control Act and_ the rules and
regulations of OCJP and the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration
and that cash =.•ai1~ be appropriatec~ as r~quired thereby.
BE IT ~'URTH~R RESOLVED that grant ~unds received hez~eunder
shall not Ue used to supplant 1ati~r enforcement ~ypendi~ures controlled
by this body.
