l~'~AS, the Board of Supervisors o£ the County of Butte has
nreviously adopted a resolution and advertised publicly their intention
to sell surPlus property located at 777 Virginia Street, Chico, also
denoted as Assessor's Parcel #01~6-13~i-01Q; and
WI-F~;REAS~ on Augus~t 26, 198+~ at ~1:1.5 a.m. and at a public meeting
o£ the ~oard o£ Supervisors sea~ed bids for the purchase of the aforementioned
property were opened and considered; and
WHEt~.EAS, -the only bidder was Ms. Rita Al1en of 1691 Filbert Avenue,
Chico, who offered $8,127 which included a bid deoosit of $500.
NOW, 7.'ET~REFt~RE~ BE IT RESOZ~ED, that the Board of Supezv~.sors o£
the County of Butte hereby awards the sale of property located at 77'j Uirginia
Street, Chico to Ms. Rita A11En at the price of $8,127 and authorizes a
transfer of title subsequent to both the County and Ms. Al1en having satisfied
a~l terms of escrow.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this
26th day of August ~.980 by the £ollowixig vote:
