OF AN UNINCORPORATED ISLAND TO TIiE CITY OF OROVILLE
WHER~AS, preliminary proceedings have been initiated by resolution of
the City of Orovi3le to the Butte County Local Agency Formation Commission to
consider the annexation of an unincorporated island surrounded by the City o£
Oroville,; and
WIIEREAS, said proposal has been designated 80-2~ City of Orovi].le
Wyandotte Avenue "Island" Annexation. The boundaries of which are described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made' a part hereof by this refexence; and
WIFEREAS, s~id territory is determined to be inhabited; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of tllis annexation is to insure orderly growth and
development ot' the city and to include within the city boundaries an area already
receiving city services; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission has designated the Board
of Supervisors as the conducting agency and charged the Board with the respons~bility
to ho~d a publ.ic hearing and to consider the annexation proposal without an
election.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, ordered and determined as follows:
The public hearing on the matter will be 1-,eld on November i'$, 1980, at
10:00 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors' Room, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville,
California.
