RESOLUT~ON SET~ING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING
FQR DETERMIN~NG i'[3BLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY
SOUTH OROVILLE ASSESST~IENT D~STRICT
The Board of Supervisors of the Caunty of Butte resolves:
mhis Board has adop~ed a map showzng the bounclaxies of
praposed South Orovi.~le Assessmen~ District, County o~ Butte, State
of California, which map ~.s entitled, "~roposed Boundaries of South
Uroville Assessment District, County af Butte, S~a~e o~ Ca1i~o~nia."
This Board proposes to implement speciaJ. assessznen~ p~o-
c~edi~~gs under the provisions af ~he ~iun.ica.pal ~mp~ovement Act ot 1913,
ti7zth bonds to be issued under the prov'as~ons of the ~mprovemen.t Bond
t.ct o~ 1915 ~or the puzpose Qf' the con~truction of improvement.,.
That Tuesday, -~he ~8th ~ay af Novembe~ , 1980, at '~he hour
10:00 A. t~I. of said c1ay, is fixc~d as ~he day and hour, and the meeting
p1ac~ of the Board of Supervisars of the Caunty of But~e, located in
the County Administration Center, 2S Coun~y Center Drive, Oroville,
Califarnia, as the place, when and where any and a11 persons in~erested
may appear and show cause why th~ Board sY~ould not find ancl de~ermine
that the pub~.ic con.venience and necessity rec~uire the propos~d imprave-.
raents ta be made in said prapased assessment district, withau~ compli-
ance with the provision5 of ~he Special Assessment Tnvestigation,
Limitation and Majorzty Protest Ac~ of 1931.

The Caun~y Clerk is her~by directed to give notice of the
time and p~ace af said hea~ing in the fol~owing manner:
By publishing a Na~ice o~ ~mprovement, said publication
to be not ~ess than twenty (20) days prior to the date
ot said hearing.
By mailing a copy o~ the Notice of Improvement to each
property awner in said proposed assessment district,
said mailing to be sent not ~ess than twenty (20) days -
pr~or to the date fl~ the hearing.
By posting a copy of the Natice of Improvement at
or near the place of ineeting o~ th~ Board of Super-
visors for fiv~ (5} days prior to the time of sa~d
hea~ing.
By posting a copy of the Not~ce of Tmprovement on a1~
open streets wi~hin the proposed assessment distric~,
said notzce to be posted nat more than ~hree h~ndred
(300) feet apar~, and not less than twenty (20) days
prior to the date of hearing.
