RESOLUTION CALLING FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS
SOUmH OROVIT~LE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
The Board of 5upervisors of the County of Butte resolves:
1. This Board has given preli.minary appraval to the
report o£ the Engineex of Work for impravement5 in Sou.th Oroville
Assessment Distric~, Coun~y o~ Butte, State of California. The
- report includes plans and specif~cations far ~he canstruc~ion of
improv~rnen~s described in the report.
2. The County of Butte will receiv~ sealed proposals
for th~.s construction not later than 11:00 A.M. on Thursday,
N'ov~mber 13~ , 1980, in ~he Butte Coun~y Depar~men~ a~ Publi.c Works,
7 County Center Drive, ~rovil~.e, Ca~.ifornia. A~ that tim~ and p~ace
the sealed p~oposais wiil be pub~icl.y opened, examined arzd dec~ared.
3. The Boa~d of Supe~visors reserves the powe~ in a.ts d~s-
aretion to r~ject all propasals. The award o~ construc~ion contract,
i~ made, sha11. be made ~o the ~awest responsible bidder within the
time fi.~ced in the specifications (or any extension of t~.me agzeed ~o
by the County and ~he I.owest responsible bidder.
4. The County Cl.erk is directed to publish a notice to
con~ractars in the OROVILLE MERCURY-REGISTER , in accordanc~ with the
Municipa~. ~mprove~ent Act of 1913. The Engi.neer of Work a.s a~thorized
to give additiona7. notice and to distribute additionaZ information as
necessary in th~ judgment of ~he Engi~eer o~ Work to secure compe~.it~.ve
bidding.
