of the City of Oroville to the Butte County Local Agency Formation Commission
to consider the annexation of an unincorporated island surrounded by the
City of Orovi7.l.e, and
WHEI2EAS,,said proposal has been designated 80-24 City of O~oville
Wyandotte Avenue "Island" Annexation. The boundaries o£ which are described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference, and
WHEREAS, said territory is determined to be inhabited, and
WHEREAS, the pnrpose of this annexation is to insure orderly grow~h
and deveiopment of the city and to include within the ci~y boundaries an
area already receiving ci~y services, and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission has designated the
Board of Supervi.sors as the conducting agency and charged the Board with
the responsibility to hold a public hearing and to consider the annexation
proposal without ar~ election; and
WHEREAS, sazd public hearing was held on November 18, 1980.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT=RESOLVED, ordered and determined as follows;
Said territory is declared annexed to the City of Oroville by this
Boaxd.
