WHEREAS, this Soard has received a petition from L. A.
Thompson and others requesting the abandonment of a public utility
easemen~ and recreational easement as described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code §§50440, et seg.,
this Board shall set a date for a hearing on the petition for
'~Y abandonment.
/ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board
o£ Su}~ervisors :
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its
regular meeting on January 6 , 198 1, at 10:00 a,m., in the
Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville,
California, a hearing shaZl be held on the abandonment of the
following described easement:
Seing a portion of Section 26, T23N, R3E, MDM,
also being a 10-£oot public utility easement
and recreational easement along Che northerly
line and westexly l.i~.e o~ Lot 94 as shown on
that cer~ain map known as Paradise Pines Unit
15, recarded in ~ook 38 Maps of Record at
Pages 42 and G~4 Counry o£ ~utte, State of
Califo~nia, being mo~e pazticul~rly described
as follows:
1. A 10-~oot public utility easement and
~ecreatiozzal. easement lying southwesterly
of an.d pa~al.l.el. with the following-described
li.ne. Beginning at ~he most easterly corner
of said LoC 94; thence N 72°31'45" W, 62.00
~eet to a point; Chence N 52°50'16" W, 11.00
~eet .to txze end .of the described line.
2. ,A. 10--foot public utiiity easement and
recreational easement lying southeasterly
of and parallel with the following-described
1ine: Beginning at the southwesterly corner

Excepting therefrom the south.erly 20 feet lying
within ~he 20-foot setback line.
