NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the Bu~C~e County Board o£ Superv~.sox~s ~Chat : 1. The name of ~the district praposed ~o be dissolved is County Service Area Na. 53, located in the County of Bu~te. The exterior boundaries of said service area are described in Exhibi~ "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by this re~erence. 2. The ~utte County Board of Supe~visors i.ni~iated a petition far said pr.oposed dissol~.tion. 3. The reason for the p~oposed dissolution of said service area i.s ~hat an extend~d I.evel of s~ructural ~ir~ protection servic~s no longer exist. 4. The conditions of the propased dissolution are set for~h as follaz,rs : a. Pu~suant to Revenue and Taxation Code §99, the funds genera~ed within County Service Area No. 53 ~or s~Cructural fire protection s~rvices shal.I, be trans~erred ta the County o~ Butte. b. That a~~ obl.igations due and owing by Caunty Service Area No. 53 sha7.1 be assumed by ~he County of Bu~~e. 5.
