HomeMy WebLinkAbout80-256WHEREAS, Senate Bi11 961 has been enacted by the Legislature
as Chapter 48, 5tatutes of 1980, amending §§1731 through 1772 of the
Code of Civil Procedure, §4607 of the Civi1 Code and §§26840.3 through
26$62 of the Governmen~ Code; and ~
WHEREAS, th9.s Board feels that the implemen~ation of a
Family Conciliation Court in th.e County of But~e is necessary and
benefic~al to the citizens of the County of But~e; and
WI~EREAS, this ~oaxd desires ta implemen~ such a Court and
provide the necessary office space, costs and indirect overhead
costs for said Court.
NOW, TH~R~FORE, B~ IT R~SOL'V~D by ehe Butte County Board
of Supervisors that:
1. A Family Conciliation Court be established in the
County of Butte under tki.e supervision of the Butte County Superior
Cour~.
2. That the Superior Court filing fees be increased in
accordance with Government Code §§26840.3 through 26862.
3. That the increase in ~he Sv.perior Court filing fees,
pursuant to Government Code §§26840.3 through 26862, be transferred
to a separate accoun~ ~o help defray the cost of funding the Family
Conciliation Court.
PASS~D AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 2nd day of December , 1980, by the following vote:
