RESOLUTION YN APPI2ECTATION OF ROBERT A. WINSTON
WEi~1t~AS, Cioberr Winston has served the people of the Counry of Butte with
distinction through his appoinC.,`~enC as Che state income tax appraiser for Butte County,

and '6rought about a number oE procedural improvements through his activities in tfie
Inheritance Tax Appxaisers Association; and
L±THEREAS, Robert FTinston served on the Oroville Ci.ty Council from 1963
through I971; and
WHEREAS, Robert Winston served with disCinotion as Mayor of the CiCy o£
Oroville for eight years, at which time he played an important xo7.e i~ the aftermath
of the 1975 earthquake; and
ST[iEREAS, Robert Winston served as a member of the Sutte County Board of
Sugervisors for the past £our years, including one year as Chairman;
NOW, Tt1EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That this Board, on behalf of the people of this Countq as well as
on its own behalf, wish to express to Robext Winston its sincere appxeciation for his
many years o£ di].igent and outstanding service to the people o£ the County of Butte. "
