STREETLIGHTING MAINTENANCE D~STRICT.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 18th day of November, 1j80, the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Califarnia, adopted and passed
a resolution of notice of inten~ion to establish county service areas to be
entitled County Service Area No. 77 (Walnut Woods Streetlighting District) and
Co~znty Service Area No. 78 (Woodsa.de Street~aghting Mazntenance Dis~ric~); and
WHEREAS, said resolution fixed the '16~h day of December, 1980, at
1:45 p.m. of said day izz the Bo~rd o~' Supervisors' Room of the County Administration
Cen.ter in the City of Orova,lle, State of California, as the time and place for
the public hearing on the establishment of said area and the assessment of a
per paxcel service charge; and
WHEREAS, said Board at said time and place proceeded to hear arguments
both £or and against the establishment of said area and the assessment of a
service charge; and
WHEREAS, no written protests against the establishment thereof were
~iled in accordance with Section 25210.17 of the Government Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board' of Supervisors of the
County of Sutte, State of California, as follows:
1. That said Board hereby finds and determines ~hat proceedings herein
were conducted pursuant to Section 25210.1 et seq. of the Government Code and
that pub3ication and notices were given pursuant ~hereto and ~hat said Board
finds and determines that the extent to which the services described in the
resolution of intention are extended county services.
2. That said Board hereby determines to establish said county service
areas.
3. That the boundaries of said service areas are hereby finally
determined and established to be the same as are shown on Exhibits "A° attached
~ hereto and incorporated herein by reference and made a part of by this resolu~ion.

4. That the name of said service areas so established is Coiznty Service
Area No. ~7 Walnut Woods Streetlighting District and County Service Area No. 78
Woodside Streetlighting Maintenance District.
5. That the type of extended county service area to be provided within
said areas is streetlighting.
6. That said county service areas are established for a11 purposes
subject only to compliance with the requirements of Chapter 8, Part I, Division II,
~itle V of ~he Government Code and subject to the provisions of Article 2.~,
Chapter 2.2, Part I, Division II, Title III of the Governmen~ Code of the State
of California.
