AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 776 OF THE COUNTY
OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"<
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, do ordain as follows:
1. That Ordinance No. 776 of the County of Butte is hereby
amended as follows:
(a) That Section No. 24 of said Ordinance, entitled "Chico
Judicial District" is amended to read as follows:
Salary Range No. of positions Classification Title
Flat 1 Judge
23 1 Principal Clerk
19 2 Steno-Clerk II
17 ~ 2 Clerk II
(b) That Section No. 28 of said Ordinance, entitled
"Paradise Judicial District", is amended by deleting therefrom
Salary Range No. of positions Classification Title
19 1 Steno-clerk II
and adding thereto.

2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after
the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of fifteen (15)
days after its passage, it shall be published with the names o-f the
members voting for and against the same, once, in a newspaper
published in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 10th day of -March , 1964,
by the following vote:
APES: Supervisors Giles, Pryde, SCeinegger and Chairman McKillop
NOES : None
ABSENT: Supervisor Alldredge
