HomeMy WebLinkAbout81-006WHEREAS, on September 16, 1980, the Butte County Board of Supervisors passed and adopted Resolution No. 80-201 making applica- tian to the Lacal Agency Formation Commission £or the proposed dissoluCzon of County Service Area No. 53; and WHEREAS, on November 6, 198d, the Local Agency Formation Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. 80-30 approving the proposed dissolution of County Service Area No. 53; and WHEREAS, the reason for the proposed dissolution of Gounty Serv~ce Area No. 53 is that an'extended level of structural fire prote~tion services no longer exists; and WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors held a public heazing on said proposed dissolution. NOW, ~H~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of S~perviso~s as follows: 1. That County Service Area No. 53 is hereby dissolved. The exterior boundazies of said County Service Area No. 53 are ~described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference. 2. Pursuant to Revenue and TaxaCion Code §99, the funds generated within County Servi~e Axea No. 53 for structural fire protection services shall be ~xansferred to the County of Sutte. 3. That aIl obligations due and owing by County Service Area No. 53 shall be assumed by the County of Butte.
