Barney and others requesting the abandonment of a p~blic utflity
easement as described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuan~ tio Streets and Highways Code_~958, this
Board shall set a daCe for a hearing on the petition for abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
l. That this Board ~ereby gives notice that at its
regular meeting on March 3
, 1981 at 10:00 a,~,, z^
the Board Chambers, Butte County Admznistration Building, Oroville,
California, a hearing shall be held on the abandonme~t of the
following des~ribed easement:
Being an 80-foot public road right-o€-way located in
Section 8, TL$N, R4E, MDB&M, as shown on that certain
map called "Town of palermo" recorded on Wa11 Map
Number 03, Maps of Record, Butte County, State of
Caiifornia. More particularly described as follows:
Being a1I that 80-foot right-of-waq known as Hewitt
Avenue lying between Blocks 24 and 25 on the west,
Blocks 32 and 33 on the east. Bounded on the north by
the south right-of-way line of Palermo Road and on
the south by the north right-of-waq Line of Williams
Avenue.
Excepting therefrom all that portion lying within the
80-foot righ~-of-way of Kenilworth Avenue.
2. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant
to the provisions of GovernmenC Code §§5~440 and 50441.
