RESOLUTTON GRANTING ~UR~SDICTION TO THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY QF CHICO IN THE MATTER
OF SQUTHEAST'CH~CO SETaER ASSESSMENT DISTRICT,
, C~TY OF CH~C4, BUTTE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
The Board of Supezvisors of the County of Butte resolves:
The City Council of the City of Chico, Butte County, Cali-
~ornia, did on the 3rd day of February, 1981, adopt a Resolution
Requestinq Jurisd~cti.on of th~ Butte County Boaxd of Supervasors
in connection with Southeast Chico 5ewer Assessment D~.stri.ct, City vf
Chico, Butt~ Caunty, Ca~ifarnia, which ~eso7.ution proposed the con-
structi~n of certain improvemen~s, and the C~ty Cauncil did, by
adoption o~ sa~.d reso].ution, request ~he consent of the Board of
Supervisors thereta. ~
That th~ publa.c ~nterest and convenience require thE making
of the 3mp~ovement described in the above resolution, and in the
manner therein s~t forth, and that a~l of the Zands included within
th~ assessment distra.ct de5cribed in the proposed Resn~ution of In-
~~ntian wzll be ben~rited by the proposed impzovement.
That this Board of 5upervisors gives consent to the forma-
tion of this assessment district descri.bed in the proposed Resolution
of ~ntention, to the making of the improvement there~.n described, and
'to the assu~ription ot juri.sdiction by the City Council of the City of
Chico, Butte County, Ca~.ifornia, ~ox a11 purpases in connection wi~h the
forma~ion o~ Southeast Chico 5ewer Assessment District, City of Chico,
Btztte County, C~liforna.a, and the making of the a.mprovement, inc~uding
a~1. levying, col~ecting and enfarcement o~ ~he assessment of costs
in re].ation to ~he benefits received from the various ~.mprov~ments.

The County Clerk of the County of Butte is directed to
cezti~y a copy of ~his resolution and transmit it to the City C~e~k
