This matter came on regularly for hearing before the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Sutte, State of California,
on March 3 , 1981, in the Board Chambers, Butte County
Administration Building, droville, California, and it appearing to
said Board that a Nokice of Time and Place of Hearing of said
Abandonment was duly and regularly given as requiied by law, and
testimony and evidence, both oral and documentary, having been
produced at said hearing, £rom which said Board now finds that the
hereinafter described Public Rzght-o~-Way is unnecessary for
present or prospective pubiic use.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows:
1. That the public righ-of-way situated in the County
of Butte, State of California, as hereinafter more particularly
described is hereby abandoned.
2. That the description of sai.d public right-of-way so
abandoned is situated in the County o£ Butte,.SCate of California,
and more particul.arly described as follows:
Being an 80-foot public road right-of-way located in
Section 8, T18N, R4E, MDS&M, as shown on that certain
map called "Town of Palermo" recorded on Wall Map
Number 03, Maps of Record, Butte County, State of
California. More particularly described as follows:
Being alZ that 80-foot right-o~-way known as Hewitt
Avenue lying between Blocks 24 and 25 0^ the west,
Blocks 32 and 33 on the east. Bounded on the north by
the soutts right-of-way line of Palermo Road and on
the south by the noxth right-of-way line of Williams
Avenue.
Excepting therefLOm al1 that poxtion lying within the
80-foot right-of-way of Kenilworth Avenue.
3. That the Clerk of this ~oard sha11 cause a certified
