RESOLUTTON SETTING T~ME AND PLACE OF HEARZNG FOR
DETERMIN~NG PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY
EAST RTDGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
Th~ Board of Supervisors o~ the County of But~e resolves:
This Board has adopted a map~showing the bour~dari~s o£
proposed East Ridge As~essment Distr~c~k, Caunty af Butte, State of
California, which map is entitled, "Proposed Boundaries o~ East Ridge
Assessment District, Coun~y of Butte, State of Californiae"
This Board proposes to implement special assessm~nt proceed-
ings under the provisions of the Municipal Improvement Ac~ o~ ~.9~.3,
with boncls ta be issued undez the provisians of the Tmprov~m~nt Act
o~ 1.911 for the purpose a~ the construction of improver*ients.
This Baard sets ~1:15 A.M. on Tuesday, the 2nd day of
June, 1.98~, at ~he meeting place of the Boa~d of Sup~rvisors o~ the
County of Butte, ~.ocated in the Caunty Adma.na~'stxatian Center, 25
County Center Drive, Orovill.e, Cali~ornia, as th~ time and place
when and wheze any and al~ persons ~nteres~.ed ~ay appear and show cause
why the Board should not find and determine that the public convenience
and n~cessity require ~he proposed improvements to be made in sa~:d pro-
pased assessment di5-~ric~, without compliance with ~he pro~'isions of
the Special Assessment Investigataon, Li.m.itation and Ma~or~.~y P~otest
Act o~' ~931.
The County Clerk zs hereby di~ected to give notice af the
tirne and place of hearing in the ~o].~awing manner:
By pub~ishing a Natice of Tmprovement, said publicat~on
to be ~ot ~ess ~.han twen.ty (20) days prior to the date
of said nearing;~ ~
By mailing a copy of the No~tice of Improvement to each property
owner in said proposed assessment district, said mai~ing ~o be
sent nat less ~han twenty (20) days pzior to the date of the

By posting a copy of the Not~ce o~ Improvemen~ at or near
th~ place of ineeting a~ the Board of Supervisors ~or ~ive (5)
days prior to the time of said hearing.
By posting a copy o~ the Notice o~ Improvem~nt on all open
s~reets wi~hin the proposed assessment district, said notice
ta be posted nat more than three hundred (300) feet apart, and
not Iess than twenty (20) days prior to the date o~ hearing.
