RE50LUTION CALLING FOR CONS~'RUCTIdN BIDS
EAST RIDGE ASSE,SSMENT DISTRICT
The Board of Supervisors of the Couz~ty af Butte reso~.ves:
1. This Board has given preliminary approval to the report
o£ the Engineer of Work ~ox improvements in East Ridge Assessment
District, County of Bu.tte, State o~ Cal.ifornia. The report includes
plans an,d specificat~ons for the construct~on o~ improvements des-
cribecl in the report.
2. The County of But~e wi~.3. receive sealed proposa~s for
this construction not later ~han ii:OQ A.M, on May 12, 1981, in the
o~f~.ce o~ ~he Project Engineer fcor this project, Cook Associa~.es,
2060 Park Avenue, Oraville, Cali~ornia. At that tizrte and pZace, the
sealed proposal,s wi~l be . public~y openecl, exarna.ned and declared.
3. The Board reserves the pawer in its discretion to reject
all proposals. Ths award of construction con~ract, if made, sha~l be
made to ~the lowest responsible ba.dde~ within the time ~ixed z:n ~he
specifications (or any' extension o~ ~ime agreed ~o by the County ancl
the ~.owest responsible biclder) .
~. The County Clerk is directed to p~bl~.sh a notice invi~.ing
sealed proposaZs ~.n the OROVZLLE MERCURY REGZSTER in acco~dance with the
Municipal Tmprovement Act of 1313. The Engineer of CnTork is authorized
to give additional, notice and to dis~ribute additionaZ inforznation as
necessary in the ~udgment of the Engineer of Work, to secure campe~itzve
bidc3ing.
