HomeMy WebLinkAbout81-083Resojufian P.FsSOLUTION APPP.OPRIATING MONIES TO COLINTI' S~RV~CE AP.EA LOAN FUND FOR COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. ~E ~ GIHEREAS, the Board of Sugervisors, pursuant to Resolution No. 75-82, establislzed a County Service Area Loan Revolving Fund; and ti~THEREAS, Government Code §25210.9c provides that a County may appropriate any of its available monies to such fund zn an amount not to exceed $500,000.00; an.d WHEREAS, said §25210.9c furthe~ provides that said revoiving fund shall be reimbursed ~rom moni.es rnade available from a benefiting service area and that no sums sha11 be disbursed from the revolving fund until, the Board.of Supervisors has, by resolution, estab~.ished a method by and term (not exceeding five years) within which the County Service Area is to reimburse the revolving fund, and specified that the Service A~ea sha11 also reimburse the funds for interest at the cuzrent rate per annum received on similar types of investments, as dete~m.zned by the Coun~y Treasurer; and LdHEREA.S, the But~e County Board of Supervisors had deter- mined that there is a neeci to provide monies for County Service Area No. 4 to provide for unanCicipated drainage maintenance.. NOW, THEfiEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Bu~te County Soard of Supervi.sors tha~: 1. There is hereby appropriated, from the County General ~'uxzd Appropriation for Contingencies to the County Service Area Revolving Fund, the sum of $4,150.00. 2. The sum of $4,150.00 is to be disbv.rsed from the Revolving Fund to County Service Area No. 4 to provide for unanticipated drainage mainCenance. 3. The sum disbursed to County Service Area Na. 4 shall be reiznbuzsed by County Service Area No. 4 to the Revolving Fund in one lump paymen~ no later than June 30, 1982. 4. Co~nty Service Area No. 4 sha11 also rei~burse the Revolving F~nd for interest at a rate per annum equal to that earned by the County on similar types of investments, as determined by the County Treasurer. 5. As the money is reimbursed .to the Revolving Fund by County Service Area No. 4, the County Auditor is directed to transfer such money from the Revolvin~ Fund to the County General Pund.
