SERVICES IN CO~INTY SERVTCE AREA NO 26 STORNI A1tAIPIAGIE
WHEREAS, the Board o~ Supervisors of tkze County of Butte intend to consider
a pxoposa7. ~or the adding of services to the existing County Service Area No. 26
for storm drain maintenance and re3.ated services the boundarfes of which have pre-
vious~y been established; and
WHEREAS, no proceedings for the extension of such services shal~. be in-
stituted by this Board or requested by its members until approval of the T,ocal Agency
Formation Co~ission is first obtained;
1VOW, THER~FORE, BE IT RE30LVED AND ORDERED BY TliE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF
SUPEItVISORS, as follows:
1, Appiication and a proposal is hereby made to t[~e Local Agency Formation
Coaanission in accordance with the Knox-Nesbit Act, beginning with Government Code
Section 54773, for establishment or extending of existing County Service Areas. The

exteriar boundaries of County Service Area No. 26 are described in Exhibit'A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof by this referenceo
2. The addition of services in County 5ervice Area No. 26 is proposed under
County Service Area Zaw (Chapter 202, Part 2, Dfvision 2, Title 3 of the Government
Code beginning with Section 2521Q.1). The type of extended service proposed is drainage
maintenance, right of way and easement acqui.sition, engineering, fencing and culvert
instal.lation and retention basin acquisition.
3o The Clerk of the Board 4s suthorized and directed to file a certified
copy of this resolution with tYce Executive 0£ficer of the Butte County Local Agency
Formation Co~issiono
