UN'bER THE STATE LZTTER CONTROL, RECYCL7STG AND RESOURCE RECOVEItY FUND
G7HE1tEAS, the Legisl.ature o£ the State of Caii.fornia has enacted the State Litter
Control, Recycling and Resource Recovery Act which provides funds to certain entities
for li.~ter c2.eanup, litter 1aw enforcement, litter education and purchase o£ litter
receptacles; and
WHERF.AS, the State So7.id Waste Management Board has been delega~ed the responsibility
for the admi.n9.strat5.on of the pxogram, setting up necessary procedures governing applica-
tion by Iocal agenci.es under tkze pxogram; and
WHEREAS, $22,631 has been a~.~.ocated to the County of Butte for fiscal year I980~81;
and
WHEREAS, County of Butte a.s not zn a position to use its 1980~81 FY allocation for
this program;
NOW, TkIER~ORE, BE IT RESOLVEA that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
does hereby noti~y the State SoZid Waste Management Board that the County of Butte
he~e'by designates its Z980~8I FY allocation of $22,631 to the City of Ctaico to conduct
a11 negotiafiions, execute and submit all documents including but not limited to applica-
t£ons, grant agreements, amendments and payment requests, which maq be necessary for Che
completion of the aforementioned program.
PASSED AND AAOP~EA by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this ~th day of M~Y , 1981, by the following vote:
