FOR CENTRAL SERUICES
WHEREAS, the County desires to aceount for and contro7, in a more
effective manner, the costs of serv~ces provided uniformly to county departments;
and,
WHEREAS, the County desires to provide for replacement of fixed assets
used in the activities of these centraT service functions; and
WNEREAS, §25260 of the Government Code authorizes the estabiishment of
interest bearing interna1 servTCe fands which may be used for these purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the 8utte County Board of Supervisors:
1. That the Auditor-Controller be authorized to establish internal
service funds for:
a. Building and GroUnds Maintenance;
b. ~tilities C.learing;
c. Central Motor Poo7;
d. Centra7 Dupiicating;
e. Centra7 Stores; and,
f. Centra7 Cammunications;
to properly account for a31 costs of performing these services and the allocation
of the costs among ~he users of these services;
2. That the fixed assets ap~urtenant to these functions be transferred
to the respective funds in the form of donated capital;
3, That provision be made i.n the users' charges to create equ~pment
replacement reserves in accordance with §25262 af the Government Code;
4. That effect~ve July 1, 1981, short ~erm cash advances be made to
the appropriate interna3 service funds sufficien~'to provide working capftal.
Such advances to be adjusted periodically by the audi.tor-controller.

30th day of June , 1981, by the fallowing vote:
