This matter came on regularly for hearing before the Board
of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, on
3une 30 , 1981, in the Board Chambers, Butte County Administration
Building, Orovi~.le, California, and it appearing to said Board that
a Notice of Time and place of Hearing of said Abandonmenr was duly
and regularly gi.ven as required by law, and testi.momy and evidence,
both oral and documentary, having been produced at said hearing,
from which said Board now finds that the herei.nafter described
Public Utility Easement is unnecessary for present or prospective
public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDER~D as follows:
1. ThaC the public utility easement s~tuated in the
County of Butte, State of California, as hereinafter more particularly
described is hereby abandoned.
2. That the description of said public utility easement
so a6andoned is situated in the County of Butte, State of California,
anfl more particularly described as follows:
Being those certain public utility easements lying
within a portion of Section 23, T23N, R3E, MDB&M, also
lying within l..ots 135, 136, and 140 as shown on the Map
of Parac3ise Pines Unit 5 recorded in Book 35 Maps of
Record at Page 90, County of Butte, State of California,
being more particularly described as follows:
1. Being that certain 20 foot publi.c utility easement
lying IO feet on each side of the following-described
line: beginning at the southeasterly corner o£ Lot
140, sazd corner being common to I,ots 135 and 140;
thence N 75° 19' 49" W, 96.00 feet Co the end of the
described line.
2. Being Chat certain 10-foot public utility easement
lying south o~ and parallel with the most northerly iot
line of LoC 136, beginning at the most easterly corner
of said Lot 136; thence N 75°•19' 49" W, 108.86 feet to
the end of the described line. a

3. Being that certain 10-~00~ public utility easemenC ~
Iying easterly of and parallel with the westerly lot ~
line of Lot 136, beginning at the most westerly corner ~
of said Lot 136; thence N 30° 40' 29" E, 100.99 feet to ~
the end of the described line. ~
Excepting therefrom the most southerly 25 feet lying ~
within the 25-£oot buildin~ setback.
RESOLUTION ABANDONING A PUBLIC tJTILITY EASEMENT
3. That the Clerk of this Board shall cause a certified
copy of this Resolution, with the seal of the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, to be recorded in the
office of the Kecorder of the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 3oth day of June , 1981, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Saraceni, Wheeler and Chairman Moseley
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisors Dolan and Lemke
NOT VOTING: None
