and others requesting the abandonment of an alley as
described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Streets and Highways Code ~958, this
Board sha11 set a date for a hearing on the petition for abandonment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the ~oard of Supervisors:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice t~at at its regular
meeting on August 18 , 1981 at 10:0o a•m., in the Board Chambers,
Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, California, a hearing
shall be held on the abandonment of the following described alley:
All that certain real property situate in the County
of Butte, State of California, described as follows:
A portion of the "TOWN OF DURHAM, BUTTE CO., CAL.",
according to the Officia~ Map thereof filed i.n the
Office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State
of California, November 1, 188i, in Book 1 of Maps,
at page 59 and more particularly ciescri.bed as follows:
Parcel 1
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of Block "Q" of
said "TOWN OF DURHAM, BUTTE CO., CAL."; thence North
29°23'40" East, a distance of 14.14 feet; thence North
74°23'40" East, para11e1 with Che northerly line of
said Block "Q", a distance of 270.00 feet; thence South
60°35'20" East a distance of I~+.14 feet to a point on
the northerly line of said Block "Q"; thence South 74°
23'40" West, along the norrherly line of said Block "Q",
a distance of 290.00 feet to the rrue point of begfnning
and containing 0.06 acres more or less.

Beginning at said northwesCerly corner of said Block
"Q"; thence South 15°36`20" East, along the westerly

corner of said B1ock "Q"; thence SouCh 74°23'40" West,
along said northerly line a~ said Lor 20, a distance of

to the West and having a radius of 530.00 feet; thence,
northerly alang the arc of said curve, through a central
angle of 15°14'36" a distance of ~41.00 feet; thence North
15°36`20" West, parailel with the westerly line of said
Block "Q", a distance of 170.99 feet; thence North 29°23'
40" East, a distance of 14.14 feet to the true point of
beginning and containing 0.09 acres more or less.

Beginning at said northwesterly corner of said B1ock "Q";
thence North 74°23'40" East, along the northerly line of
said Blo~k "Q", a distance of 140.00 feet to the north-
easterly corner of Lot 8 of said Block "Q" and the true
