RESOLllTION OF THE BOARU OF SUPERVISORS
RECOGNIZING ACHIEVEMENTS OF
RON BRANDT
~URHAM PARKVIEW 4-H CLUB
WHEREAS, the Board af Supervisors of the Co~nty of Butte recognizes the i~nportance of
the 4-H Club Program to help young p2ople develop their maximum potential by emphasizing learning
by doing so they are better ab3e to lead satisfy9na lives as respons9ble members of society; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors recogn9zes the importance of the ~9amond Star as the
top state 4-H rank wh9ch is awarded to outstanding members of 4-H Clubs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT IiE50LVED by the Board of Supervisors of the Co¢nty of Butte that
they recognize the achievements of Ron Brandt of the aarham Parkview 0.-H Ciub in being awarded
the Diamond Star for his dertnnstrated qualities af teadership and willingness to assist. This
Board bel9eves that Ron has demonstrated the qual~ties of leadership and the w9711ngness to serve
ather 4-8 members; has demonstrated initietive and w3119ngness to assame responsibility; has
demonstrated caring and w9111ngness to he of servlce to others; has demonstrated a wi111ngness to
accept challengers 9rt serving fiis club and his co~mnunity and has successfully achzeved the goals
and 9s a model to others 9n meeting the challenges of the 80's.
BE IT FUR7NER RESOLVED that the congratutations of this Board ~e extended to Ron Brandt
and his parents Oon and C1audla Srandt for these outstanding ach9evements in being awarded the
Diamond Star.
