HomeMy WebLinkAbout81-178RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING MO~IES TO COUNTY SERVICE AREA LOAN FUN~ FOR COU~TY SERVICE AREA N0. 62 4JHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors, pursuant to Resolution No. 75-82, established a County Service Area Loan Revolving Fund; and W~ER~AS, Government Code §2521Q.9c provides that a County may appropriate any of its available monies to such fund fn an a~ount not to exceed $50fl,000; and WHER~AS, said ~25210.9c further provides that said revolving fund shali be reimbursed from monies made avaiZabte from a benefiting service area and that no sums shall be disbursed from the revolv~ng fund until the Board of Supervisors has, by resolution, es~ab~ished a method by and term (not exceeding five years) within which the County Service Area is to reimburse the revolv~ng fund, and specified that the Service Area sha~l a]so reimburse the funds for interest at the current rate per annum received on simi]ar types of investme~ts, as determined by the Ciunty Treasurer; and WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors had determined that there is a need to provide monies for County Service Area No. 62 to provide for unantic9pated u~ility costs for street lights. N04J, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Superv3sors that: l. There is hereby appropriated, from the County Genera1 Fund Appropriation for Contingencies to the County Service Area Revo~ving Fund, th~ sum of $15.00. 2. The sum of $15.00 is to be disbursed from the Revo1v~ng Fund to County Serv~ce Area ~a. 62 to provide for unanticipated utility costs for street iights. 3. The sum disbursed to County Service Area No. 62 shall be reimbursed by County Service Area ~o, 62 to the Revo~v~ng Fund ~n one lump payment no later than Ju~e 30, 1982. 4. County Service Area No. 62 shall also reimburse the Revolving Fund for int~rest at a rate per annum equal to tha~ earned by the County on similar types of investments, as determined by the County Treas~rer. 5. As the money is reimbursed to the Revolving Fund by County Service Area No. 62, the County Auditor is directed to transfer such money ~rom the Revolving Fund to the County General Fund.
