ON PETITION TO ABANDON A PORTION OF STREETS
WHEREAS, this Soard has received a petition from Thad
Wakeman and others requesting the abandonment of a portion of Grand
Aven~e and a portion of 16th StreeC in the City of Thermalito, as
described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to StreeCS and Highways Code §958, this
Board shall set a date for a hearing on the petition for abandonment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its regular
meeting on september 29 , 1981 at 10:0o a.m., in.the Board Cha~bers,
Burte County Administration Building, Oroville, California, a hearing
s~all be held on the abandonment of a portion of the following
described streets.
Being a portion of Grand Avenue and a porCion of
lbth Street lying within T19N, R3E, MDB&M, also
lying adjacent to Lot 8, B1ock 105 as shown on
Thermalito Wall Map No. b and Record of Survey as
recorded in Book 78 at Page 35 Maps of Record, being
more particularly described as ~ollows:
Beginning at the southwes~ corner of said Lot 8,
Block 105; thence N 00°OZ'S7"W, 355.00 feet; thence
N 89°58'S9"W, 10 feet; thence S 00°02'S7"E, 400.20
~eet; thence N 81°57'S5" E, 280 feet; thence N
89°58'S9" W, 272.20 feet to the Point of Beginning.
2. T~at ~his Resolution be posted and published pursuant to
the provisions of Streets and Highways Code §958.

this 18th , day of Augus~ , 1981, by the following vote:
