FORMATTON COMMTSSION REGARDING A PROPOSAL FOR THE DISO~UTTON OF
THE STIRL3NG CITY SEWER MAINTENANCE DISTRICT AN- THE FORMATION
OF COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 82 (STIRLING CTTY S~WER).
WHEREAS, the Board of Sup ~rvisors of the County.of:Butte intend
to consider proposal for the establishment of a county service area for
sewer maintenance, the boundaries of which are hereinaf~er described; and
WHEREAS, no proceedings for the establishment o~ such service area
shall be instituted by this Board or requested by its members until approval
by the Local Agency Formation Commission is first obtained.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED AND ORDERED BY THE BUTTE COIINTY
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, as follows: '
'I. Applica~ion and a proposal is hereby made to the Local Agency
Formation Com~nission in accordance with the Knox-Nesbit Act, beginning with
Government Code Section 54773, for establishrrtent-of Covnty Service Area No. 82
the exterior boundaries o£ the proposed service area are described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference.
2. Establishment of said service area is proposed under County
Service Area Law (Chapter 2.2, Part 2, Divisa.on 2, Title 3 of ~he Gooernment
Code beginnirig with Section 25210.1). The type of extended service proposed
to be provided is sewer service.
3. The C1erk of the Board is authorized and directed to fzle a
certified copy of this resolution with the Executive Officer of the Butte
County Local Agency Formation Commission.
PASSE- AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on
this 25th day of August ,'1981, by the following vote:
