RESOLUTXON ACCEPTING PETIT~ON
LAKERIDGE VZLLAGE ASSESSMENT DISTR~CT
The Board of Sup~rvisors ~£ the Coun.ty of Be~tte resolves:
Certain owners of real praperty have filed with the C~erk of
this body a petition, signed by them, requesting th~ public improve-
~ents desc~ibed in th~ petit~on, the cost to be speciall.y ass~ss~d
against land berze~iting ~'rom the improvements. The~pe~itian contains
an express waiver o~ statutory proceedings under the Special Assess-
men~. Investigation, Lim~tatian and Majozity pro~.est Ac~ o~ 1931, as
provided in S~ction 2804 of the Streets and Highways Code.
Th~ Boa~d of S~pervisors finds that al~. of the owziers of more
than sixty percent (604) in area o~ the land subject to assessment for
the proposed zmprovemen~s have sign~d the pc~t~it~on.
Accord~.ngly, tha Board o~ St~perviso~s acc~pts the petition
and direc~s that sp~cia~. assessment proceedings shal~ be undertaken
by the terms of the petitiozz and with~ut furthex comp.liarzce with
the Spec~.al Assessment Inves~iga~ian, Lim~tation and Majority Pro~est
Act af 193I. This action is £inal. within th~ nneaning o~ Sectzon 3012
of the Streets and Highways Code.
