RESOLUTSON CALLING FOR CONSTRUCTTON BIDS
LAKERTDGE V~LLAGE ASSESSMENT DTSTR~CT
The Board of Supe~v~.sors of the County of But~.e resolves :
l. This Board has given prelimina~y approval to the ~eport•
of the Engineer o~ Work ~ax~ ~..xnprovements in Lakeridge Villag~ Assess-
ment District, Caunty of Butte, State of Californiao The report
inc~~des plans ar~d specifications for th.e const~uction af improv~ments
describ~d in the report.
2. The County of Butte will receive sea.~ed propasals ~or
this construction not later than ].1:00 A.1~. on September 2~#, 198~.,
in the o~'fice of the Directar o~ Pub~ic Warks of ~h~ County of But~~,
7 Coun~ty Center Drive, Orovil~e, Cali~~rnia. -At that ~ime and p~.ace,
the sealed proposals will be publicly opened, examin~d and declared.
3. The Board ~eserves tlie power in its discret.~on ~o
reject ali proposals. The award of canstruction con~ract, if rnade,
shal~. be made to the lowest responsible bidder within the time fix~d
in the specifications ~or any exten~ion of time agr~ed,to by the
County and the ~.owest responsible bidder}. ~
4. The County C].erk ~,s direc~~d to pub~.ish a notice ~o
cont~ac~ors in the OROV~LLE MERCURY REG~STER in accordance with ~he
Municipa~. Improvement Act of 1913. The Engineer of Work is authorized
to give additional no~ice~and to distribu~e additional informa~ion as
nec~ssary in the judgmen~ af the Eng.~n~er of Work, to secure cornpe~~.-
tive bidding.
