Wakeman and othets requesting the abandonment of a portion of Grand
Avenue and a portion of 16th Street in the City of Thermalito, as
described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
California Streets and Highways Code, this Board shall set a date
for a hearing on the petition for abandonment,
NOW, THEREFOR~, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
1. That this Boaxd hereby gives notice that at its regular
meeting on October 20 , 1981 at 10:00 a.m., in the Board Chambers,
Butte County Administration ~uilding, Oroville, California, a hearing
shall be held on the abandonment of a portion of the following described
s~reets:
Being a portion of Grand Avenue and a portion of
16th Street lying w~thin T19N, R3E, MDB&M, also
lying adjacent to Lot 8, Block 105 as shown on
Thermalito Wa11 Map ~o. 6 and Record of Survey as
recorded in Book 78 at Page 35 Maps of Record, being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Lot 8,
B1ock 105; thence N 00°02'S7"W, 355.00 feet; thence
N 89°58'59"W, i0 feet; thence S 00°02'S7"E, 400.20
feet; thence N 81°57'S5" E, 280 feet; thence N
$9°58'S9" W, 272.20 feeC ~o ehe Point of Beginning.
2. That a map showing said portion of said
abandoned is on file at the Public Works Department, 7 County Center
brive, Oroville, California.
3. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California
Streets and Highways Code.
