WHEREI~,S, the provisions of the Revenue and Taxation Co3e require
an agreement between the County of Butte and special districts considering
annexations.
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED•by the Board o£ Supervisors that the
Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit "A" is incorporated herein as if set
forth in full and a.s hereby approved and executed by Butte County.
PASSED AND ADOPT~D by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this
22nd day of September ,~g8'~, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Do1an, Saraceni, Flheeler and Chairman Moseley
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Lemke

~rJHEREAS, said sec~ion of' et~e Revenue and Taxatian Code further
prov~.des ~ n Sec~io:~ 99. i, SubS~c~iar_ (a) , paragraph 3:
"Notwi~hst~nd~ng the provisior~s of paragraph (~) of
subdiva,sion {~} p~ Sec~ian 99, any special district affected
by tt~e j~risdic~ional criangc~ may negotiate on its oti~rn
behalf, i.f it so CYtQQSG'5."
W~iEI~E~S, Sect~.on gg further provides in Subsection B, paragraph $,
Subps~'~. (d):
"With respeet to adjustments in the all~ocat~on of property ~
taxes pursuar~+ to this sec~ion, a coun~y and any ~oca1, agen.cy
, ~
ar agencie~ within the countY may de~elop and ac~apt a master
property tax transfex- agre~rnent. Such agr,~er~ent may be revised
fro,m ~im~ to ~ime by the part~es suksject to s~ch agreemen~_"
