Associates and others requesCing the abandonment of a porCion of
publ~c streets in the Town of Durham as described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
Californ~a Streets and Highways Code, th~s Board sha1L set a date
for a hearing on the petition for abandonment, •
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that a~ its regular
meeting on ~ovember 24 , 19$1 at 10:00 ~ m., in the Board Chambers,
Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, California, a hearing
shall be held on the abandonment of the following described portion
of public streets in the Town of Durham:
AI1 that certain real property situate in the County
of Butte, State of California, descrzbed as follows:
Parcel 1(A portion of Brown Street)
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of B1ock "Q"
o~ said "TOWFV OF DURHAM, BUTT~ CO., CAL."; thence
North 29°23'40" East a distance of 14.14 feet;
thence North 74°23'40" East, parallel with the
northerly line of said Block "Q", a distance of
270.00 feet; tE~ence South 60°36'20" East a distance
of 14.14 feet to a point on the northerly line of
aid block "Q"; thence South 74°23'40" West, along
the northerly line of said Block "Q", a distance of
29d.00 feet to the true point of beginn~.ng and
containing 0.06 acres more or less.

Beginning at said norrhwesterly corner of said

320.34 feet to a point an the northerly line of

page 143, said point being the southwest corner of
said Block "Q"; Chence South 74°23'40" West, along
said norrherly line of said Lot 20, a dzstance of

said curve being concave to the West and having a
radius of 530.00 feet; thence, northerly alon~ the
arc of said curve through a central angle of 15°1~'36"
a distance of 141.00 feet; thence North 15°36'20"
West, para11e1 with the westerly line of said Block
"Q", a distance of 170.99 feet; thence North 29°23'40"
Eas~ a distance of 14.14 feet to the true poin~ of
beginning and containing 0.09 acres more of less.
2. That a map showing said portion of said roads to be
abandoned is on file at the Public Works Department, 7 County Center
Drive, Oroville, California.
3. Thae rhis Resolution be posted and published pursuant
to Che provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California
Streers and Highways Code.
