HomeMy WebLinkAbout81-241WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 3, of the
Government Code of the State of California the Board by its own notice has
initiated proceedings For the establishment of County Service Area No. 82, and
WHEREAS, the Loca1 Agency Formation Commission of Butte County has
approved the formation of County Service Area No. 82.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
1. County Service Area ~o. 82 is proposed to be estab~ished under
the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area of Butte County;
~he boundary ~ines of the territory proposed for inc~usion zn the area are
outlined in Exhibzt "A" which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by
~his reference.
2. The sexvice area shall be called County Service Area No. 82
(Stirling City Sewer).
3. The type of extended service to be provided is sanitary sewer
serv~ce.
4. The Board intends to levy a service charge to pay for sanitary
sewer service in County Service Area No. 82. The service charge wi.ll be assessed
in accordance with Government Code Section 252~0.77(a) and Butte County Code
Section 21-85 through 21-90. Said service charge will not be assessed until
after review and adoption of a report to be considered at a public hearing
scheduled for the ~g82-$3 fiscal year.
5. On November '24, 1981, atl: Y0,:9:5~` a:m.e a public hearing will be
held on the establishment of said area.
