WHER~AS, ~he Board of Supervisors on April.28, 1981, applied to ~he
Butte County Local Agency ~qrmat~on Commission to extend storm drainage serv~ce
to County Service Area No. 26, and
WHER~AS, on October 1, 1981, the Butte Cou~ty LAFCo approved said
applicat~on., az~d
WFiEREAS, Exh~,bi~ "A" attached hereta anc~ made a par~ hereaf describes
the l~oundaries of County Serv3ce Area No. ~6, and
WHEREAS, ~he type of e~cten.ded service proposed is draa.nage maintenance,
ra,ght-of-way and easement acquisition, en~ineering, fez~cing and culvert ins~allation
and retention basin acquisa.tao~; and.
WHEREA,5, the Board intends to levy a serva.ce charge ~o pay for storm
drai.nage maintenance in this area. This servace charge wi~l be assessed in
accordance with Government Code Section 25210.7`J(a} and Butte County Code Section
21-$5-.through 2'I--90. Said serv~.ce charge wi~1. not be assessed unt~l after review
and adop~ion of a repar~ to be con,sidered. a~ a public hearing schedulec~ for the
198z-83 fiscal year.
NOW, '~HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLITED AND QRI3ED by the Butte Coanty Board of
Supervi~ors as ~ollows:
