ADOPTING OFFICE NOURS FOR THE RECORDER'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has recognized a
need to modify office hours in certairo departments to obtain efficiency utilizing
existing staff; and
WHEREAS, Qrdinance No. 2241 provides that the Board of S~pervisors may
adopt resolutions specifying those offfce hours which a department will be open
~o public business transactions; and
WMEREAS, on Septem6er 29, 198~, this Board adopted Reso7ution
No. 81-220 modifying office hours for the Recorder's Office; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to change the office hours as set forth
in the resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 81-220 is hereby
rescinded; and
FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED that the Recorder's Office hours be changed
to be open ~o the general public from 8:00 a.m: until 1:~0 p.m. on regular business
days exce~t that on the last working day of the month, the hours sha71 be from
8;00 a.m. unti3 5:00 p.m.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this
20th day of october , 1981, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Do1an, Lemke, Saraceni and Chairman Moseley
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Wheeler
NOT VOTING: None
