This matter came on regularly for i~earing before the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
on October 20 , 198I, in the Board Chambers, Butte County
~,dministration Building, Oroville, California, and it appearing to
said Board that a Notice of Intention and Resolution to Abandon A
Portion of Streets and Notice of Time and Place of Hearing of said
Abandonment was duly and regularly given as required by law, and
testimony,and evidence, both oral and documentary, having been
produced at said hearing, ~rom which said Board now finds that the
hereinafter described portion of streets alley is unnecessary for
present or pxospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows:
1. That the alley situated in the County o~ ButCe, State
of California, as hereinafter more particularly described is hereby
abandoned.
2. That the description of said portion of streets
abandoned is situated in the County of Butte, StaCe of California,
and more particularly desctzbed as follows:
Being a poxtion of Grand Avenue and a portian of
16th Street lying within T19N, R3E, MDB&M, also
lying adjacen~ to Lot 8, Block 105 as shown on
Thermalito Wall Map No. 6 and Record of Survey as
xecorded in Book 78 at Page 35 Maps of Record, being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Lot 8,
B7.ock 105; thence N 00°02`57"W, 355.OQ feet; tnence
N 89°58'59"W, 10 feet; thence S 00°02'S7"E, 400.20
feet; thence N 81°57'55" E, 280 feet; thence N
89°58'S9" W, 272.20 feet to the Point of Begi.nning.

3. That the Clerk of this Board shall cause a certified
copy of this Resolution, with the seal of the Board of Supervisors
of the Counry of Buere, State of California, to be recorded in the
office of the ltecorder of the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County 13oard of Supervisors
