Freeborg and others requesting t~e abandonment of a public utiliey
easement and recreational easement as described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
California Streets and Highways Code, thzs Board shall set a date for
a hearing on the petition for abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
l. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its
regular meeting on December 1 , 1981, at 10:00 a.m., in the
Soard Chambers, Butte County Administration Buildzng, Oroville,
California, a hearing shali be held on the abandonment of the
following described easement:
PP 8, LOTS 95, 96, 97, 109, 110 AND 111
Being those certain 10 foot publzc utilitp
easements and recreational easements lying
within a portion of Section 25, T23N, R3E, MDM,
also being a portion of Lots 95, 96, 97, I09,
110 and 111 as shown on the Map of Paradise
Pines Unit 8, recorded in Book 38 Maps of
Record at Pages 1 through 4, County of Butte,
State of California, being more particularly
described as follows:
LOT 95
Being tha~ certain 10 foot pu~li~ utility easement
and recreational easement lying norrheasterly of
and parallel with the southwesterly lot line of
said Lot 95, beginning at the most southerly
corner of said Lot 95; thence N38°55'15"W, 126.66
feet to the most westerly corner of said Lot 95.
LOT 96
1. Being that certain 10 foot public utility
easement and recreat~onal easement lying north-
easterly of and parallel with the southwesterly
lot line of said Lot 96, beginning at the most
southerly corner of said Lot 9b; ehence ~38°55'15"W,
54.22 feet to the most wesCerly corner of said Lot 9b.
2. Being that cerCain 10 foot public utility
easement lying northwesCerly of and parallel with
the southeasterly lot line of said Lot 96,
beginning at the most southerly corner of said
Lot 96; thence N65°14'26"E, 138.77 feet; excepting
therefrom the most easterly 20 feet lying within

2. That a map showa.ng said porCion of said public utility
easement and recreational easement to be abandoned is on file at the
Bu~te County Public Works Department, 7 County Cen~er Drive, Oroville,
California.
3. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Diva.sion 9 of California
Streets and Highways Code.
