Smith and others requesting the abandonment of a public utility
easement and recreational easement as described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
California Streets and Highways Code, this Board sha11 set a date for
a hearing on the petition for abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVBD by the Board of Supervisors:
l. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its
regular meeting on December 1 , 1981, at 10:00 a•m•, in the
Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville,
California, a hearing shall be held on the abandonment of the
following described easement:
Be~ng Chase certain 12-foot public utility easement
and recreational easement and five-foot public
utility easements lying within Section 3b, T23N,
R3E, MDM, also lying within Lot 8 as shown on the
Map of Paradise Pines Country Club Estates Unit 2,
recorded in Book 38 Maps of REcord at Pages 61
through 63, County of Butte, State of California,
being more particularly described as following:
l. Being that certain 12-€oot public uti~ity
easement and recteational easement lying southwesterly
of and parallel with the northeasterly 1ot line of
said Lot 8, beginning at the most northerly lot
corner of said Lot 8; thence S 43°53'28"E 77.00 feet
to the most easterly lot corner of said Lot 8.
2. Being that certain five-foot public ut~lity
easement lying northwesterly of and parallel wxth
Che southeasterly 1ot line of said Lot 8, beginning
at the most southerly lot corner of said Lot 8;
thence N 46°06'32"E, 130.00 feet to the most easterly
•lot corner of said Lot 8. Excepting therefrom the
most southerly 20 feet lying within the 20-foot
setback line.
3. Being that certain five-foot pubic util~Cy
easement lying southeasterly of and parallel with
the northwesterly 1ot line of said Lot 8, beginning
aC ~he most westerly lot corner of said Lot 8;
thence N 46°06'32"E, 130.00 feet to the most no~therly
1ot corner of said Lot 8. Excepting therefrom the
most southerly 2Q feet lying within the 20~foot
setback line.

2. That a map showing said portion of said public utility
easement and zecreational easement to be abandoned is on file at the
Butte County Public Works Department, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville,
California. .
3. That this kesolution be posted and published pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 ~f Cali~ornia
Streets and Highways Code.
