Campbell and others requesting the abandonment of a public utility
easement and recreational easement as described below; and
WI~EREAS, pursuanti ~o Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
Cal~fornia Streets and Highways Code, this Board sha11 set a date for
a hearing on the peritiion for abandonmen~.
NOW, THE~~FORE, BE IT RESOLVE- by the Board of Supervisors:
1. That rhis Board hereby gives notice that at its
regular meeti.ng on December Z , 1981, at 10:00 a.m. , i.n the
Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville,
California, a hearing shall be held on the abandonment of the
followang described easement:
Being that certain 10--foot public utility easement
and recreational easement lying within a portion of
Section 26, T23N, R3E, MDM, also being a portion of
Lot 98 as shown on the map of Paradise Pines Unat
15, recorded in Book 38 Maps of Record at pages 42
to 44, County of Butte, State of California, being
more parti.cularly described as follows:
1. Being that cerCain 10-foot public utility
easement and recreational easement lying easterly
of and parallel with the westerly lot line of said
Lot 98, beg~nning at the southwesterly lot corner
of said Lot 98; thence N 00°15'14"W, 133.63 feet
to the northwesterly 1ot corner of said lot.
Excepting therefrom the most southerl.y 20 feet
lying within the 20-foot setback line.
2. Being that certain 10-foot public utility
easement and recreatianal easement lying souCherly
of and parallel with the northerly lot line of said
Lot 98, beginning at the northeasterly lot corner
o~ said Lot 98; thence N 85°09'28"W, 93.00 feet to
the northwesterly lot corner o~ said lot.
Excepting therefrom the most easterly 20 feet
lying within the 20-foot setback line.

2. That a map showing said portion of said public utility
easement and recreational easement to be abandoned is on file at the
BuCte Coun~y Public Works Department, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville,
California.
3. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant
to the provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California
Srreets and Highways Code.
