Selby and others requesting the abandonment of a public ~tility
easement and recreational easement as described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of
California Streets and Highways Code, this Board shall set a date for
a hearing on the petition for abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors:
l. That this Board hereby gives notice that at its
regular meeting on December 1 , 1981, at 10:00 a•~•~ in the
Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville,
California, a hearing sha11 be held on the abandonment of the
following described easement:
Being those certain 10-foot public utility easement
and recreational easement and a five-foot public
uCility easement lying within a portion of Section
36, T23N, R3E, MDM, also being a portion of Lot 18
as shown on the Map of Paradise Pines Country Club
Estates Unit 2, recorded in Book 38 Maps of Record
at Page bl through 63, County of Butte, State of
California, being more parCicularly described as
follows:
1. Being that certain 10-foot public utility
easement and recreational ease~ent Iying northeasterly
of and para11e1 with the southwester~y lot line of
said Lot 18, beginning at the most southerly corner
o£ said Lot 18; thence N 43°53'28"W, 80.00 feet to
the most westerly corner of said Lot 18.
2. Being that certain five-foot public utility
easement lying northwesterly of and parallel with
~he southeasterly lot line of said Lot 18, beginning
at ~he most southerly corner af said Lot 18; thence
N 45°06`32"E, 125.00 feet; excepting therefrom the
norCheasterly 20 feet lying within the 20-foot
setback line.
3. Being that certain five-~oot public utility
easement lying southeasterly of and parallel wirh
the northwesterly lot line o€ said Lot 18, beginning
at the most wesrerly corner of said Lot 18; thence
N 46°06'32"E, 125.00 feet; excepting therefrom the
northeasterly 20 feet lying within the 20-foot
setback 1xne.

2. That a map showing said portion of said public utility
easement and recreationa~ easement ~o be abandoned is on file at the
Butte County PubLic Warks bepartment, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville,
California.
3. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant
to ~he provisions of Chapter 3, Part 3 of Division 9 of California
Streets and Hig~ways Code.
