RESOLilTION IN HONOR ~F KEITIi A. LOSO
WHEREAS, Kei.Ch A. Loso sarved as a Przvate Fi.rst Class with Traop I, 3d 5quadron,
llth Armored Cavalry Regiment of th~ United States Army, w~tile stationed in Vietnam; and
WHEREAS, Keith A. Loso diI.igently performed search and destroy missions, cvu~only
known as "tunnel xatti.ng", £or Troop I; and
WEIEREAS, on January 13, ~.967, Keith A. Loso voluntarily and ~eroa.cally, while
under intensive small arms fire £rom an area of known Viet Cong activitq; pxoCeeded
toward the ziouth of C~~e firsti tunnel of an extensive complex o£ caves whi.ch were hea~ily
protec~ed with mines and boobq traps, and while approaching the opening, an explosion
detonated and Ie~C hi.nt sexiously wounded and uncansci.ous; and
WH~KEAS, due to KeiCh A. Loso's display of courage, his comrades c,rere able to
completa the task of clearing tne area and destroying the fortifications wzthout furthez
major casualties;
NOW, TtIEREF'OFtE, BE I'~ RESOLVED by thi.s Boasd as follows:
