HomeMy WebLinkAbout81-274WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors, pursuant to Resolution No_ 75-82,
established a County 5ervice Area Loan Revolving Fund; and
WH~REAS, Gavernment Code §252I0.9c provides that a County may
appropr~ate any of its available monies to such fund fn an amount not to
exceed $5fl0,000.00; and
WHEREAS, said §25210_9c further provides that said revolvi-ng fund
shall be reimbursed from monies made available from a benefiting service area
and that no sums sha11 be disbursed from ~he revolving fund until the Soard
of SupervSsors has, by resolution, established a method by and term (not
exceeding five years) within which the County Service Area is to reimburse
the funds for interest at the current rate per annum received on similar types
of investments, as de~ermined by the County Treasurer; and
41HEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors had determined that
there is a need to provide monies for County Service Area No. 34 to prov~de
for unanticipated repairs to the swimming pool.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE FT RESOLUED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors that:
1. There is hereby appropriated, from the County General Fund
Appropriation for Contingencies to the County Service Area Revolving Fund,
the sum of $ 30 000
2. The sum of $ 30,000 is to be disbursed from the
Revolving Fund to County Service Area No. 34 to provide for unanticipated
repairs to the swimming pool.
3. County Service Area No. 34 shall alsa refmburse the Revo1ving
Fund for interest at a rate per annum equaZ to that earned by the County on
similar types of investments, as determined by the County Treasurer. ,

4. As the money is reimbursed to the Revolving Fund by County
Service Area ~o. 34, the County Auditor is directed to transfer such money
from the Revolving Fund to the Caunty General Fund.
