RESOLUTION IN MEMORY OF R08's;tiT E. LEyKE
WHEREAS, this Board was grieved to learn of the deaCh of Supervisor Robert E. Lemke;
i
and .
WHEREAS, Robert E. Lemke served as a reporter assigned to the "county beat" for j
I
several years whiLe employed by the Paradise Post; and j
;
WdiEREAS, Robert E. Lemke, was elected to the Butte County Board of Supervisors Erom
District 5 and took office on .lanuary 4, 1977, and ;
WHEREAS, Robert E. Lemke, was recently re-elected to a consecutive Four-year term ort
the Board of Supervisors on January 5, 198I; and ~
WHEREAS, Roberc E. Lemke, while a member of che 6oard of SuQervisors, faithfully and
meritoriously served the peopLe of the County of Butte on many commi[tees and co~issions ~
throughout the State; and ~
WHEREAS; Robert E. Lemke was cecently electea as Pzesident of the Yorthern CaLifornia ,
Supervisors AssociaCion; • ~
NOW, TSEREFOkE, BE FT RES~LVED as follows:
1. That this Board hereby memotializes its appreciation for the many years o£
outstanding setvzce rendered to the County of Butte by Robett E. Lemke during his Li~etime.
2. That this Board wishes to express to the family of Robert E. Lemke its deepese
and heartfelt condolences on their Loss. ~
3. That the reguLar meeting of this Board held on Che lst day of December, 1981,
be adjourned in memory of Robert E. Lemke.
