AREA LOAN FUN~ FOR COUNTY SERVICE AREA ~0. 47
IJHEREFlS, the Board of Supervisors, pursuan~ to Resalution No. 75-82,
establ~shed a County Service Area Loan Revolving Fund; and
WHEREAS, Government Code §25210.9c prnvides that a County may
approphiate any of its ava97able monies to such fund in an amaunt not to exceed
$500,OQ0.00; and
LJHEREAS, said §25230.9c further provides that said revolving fund
sha11 be reimbursed from monies made available from a benefiting service area
and that no sums sha71 be disbursed from the revolving fund until the Board
of Supervisors has, by resolution , established a method by and term (not
exceeding five years) within which the County Service Area is to reimburse
the revolving fund, and specified that the Service Area shall also reimburse
the funds for interest at the current rate per annum received on simi1ar types
of investments, as determined by the County Treasurer; and
~HEREAS, the 6utte County Board of Supervisors had determined that
there is a need to provide monies for County Service Area No. 47 to provide
for unanticipated repairs to drainage pumps.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors that:
l. There is hereby appropriated, from the County Genera] Fund
Appropr~ation for Contingencies to the County Service Area Revolving Fund,
the sum of ~ 1,50~.00
2. 7he sum af $_1~500.00______ is to be disbursed from the
Revo3ving Fund to County Service Area No. 47 to provide for unanticipated
repairs to drainage pumps.
3. The sum disbursed to County Service Area P~o. 47 sha17 be
reimbursed by County Service Area [~~o. 47 to the P.evolving Fund according to
authorized statutes.
4. Coun~y Service Area No. 47 shall also reimburse the Revolving
~und for interest at a rate per annum equal to that earned by the County on
sim~lar types of investments, as determi~ed by the County Treasurer.
~. As the money is rei~burs~d to the Revoiving Fund by County
Service Area ~o. 47, the Coun~y Auditor is directed to transfer such money
from t1~e Revo7ving Fund to the County Genera3 Fund.
